MULTI DISCIPLINARY TEAMS
Ballycastle Medical Practice now have a number of teams within the Practice, including, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Worker and Pharmacist.
Pyhsiotherapist
Our Physio is Shannon Graham. Appointment can now be booked directly without having to see a GP first. Shannon can deal with joint problems including sprains, neck and back pain and Arthritis. She will also be able to order further tests if required or do onward referrals if needed.
Social Worker
Our Social Worker is Elaine Twaddle. . Elaine can provide practical advice, refer to other services if required. Elaine works with individual, families and communities to improve their social wellbeing. Types of Support Provided:-
Isolation or Loneliness Stress, Carer Support, Relationship difficulties, Parenting Difficulties, Housing Difficulties, Bereavement, Alcohol and Drug addiction.
